Multiple Exceptionalities

Ministry Criteria

A combination of learning or other disorders, impairments or physical disabilities, that is of such nature as to require, for educational achievement, the services of one or more teachers holding qualifications in Special Education and the provision of support services appropriate for such disorders, impairments or disabilities.

 

Board Criteria

The student meets the criteria of at least two exceptionalities.

Requirements

Written reports from a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, the College of Physicians and Surgeons and/or the College of Psychologists (or an individual directly supervised by a member) and/or the College of Social Workers which clearly delineates the nature and severity of the problems which the student is experiencing or provides a diagnosis of the problem.
