Brushes in the Hammer was an art event hosted by the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board at Hamilton's GasWorks on May 9th and 10th. Initiated over a decade ago by secondary art teachers, the event featured the creative works of students from all Catholic secondary schools, aimed at celebrating student creativity and expression, reflecting the enduring values of their Catholic faith. The Gasworks building provided a fitting venue for this immersive art experience, which was open to the public with specific viewing hours over two days. The event welcomed community members to appreciate and be inspired by the students' artistry.
